Anzac Day in France

The Germans captured Villers Bretonneux and had some advances on 23 and 24 April. At the night of April 24th, Six Battalions of AIF counter attacked to the South and North of Cemetery, encircling VB, and retook the town. This Famous action stoped German advance of March-April in the Somme area of France. Because of what happened in Somme area there is Anzac day services in Somme Area.

Dawn Service in in Villers Bretonneux, Somme is arranged at the Australian National Memorial at Dawn time. It is supposed to be at 5:15 am and free shuttle bus service with limited seats is available from Amiens to Villers Bretonneux at 4 am. The bus will bring the people back in the morning.
